Analisis Wacana Kritis Model Michael Foucault dalam Berita Pada tempo.com: "UKT Mahal, DPR Tuding Menteri Pendidikan Nadiem Makarim Lakukan Komersialisasi Pendidikan Tinggi"

Abstract

This research was conducted to describe the elements of representation, misrepresentation, marginalization and delegitimization in the news discourse text entitled "UKT Mahal, DPR Tuding Menteri Pendidikan Nadiem Makarim Lakukan Komersialisasi Pendidikan Tinggi" on Tempo.com. This research is a qualitative descriptive type of research, using Foucault's critical discourse analysis model. The results of this research explain that the knowledge relationship was presented to criticize the attitude of the ministry of education regarding impartiality towards the poor. Media ideology openly and boldly criticizes the attitude of the ministry of education which favors the poor in obtaining higher education.
